How To create A DIY Christmas Eve box

Make Christmas Eve extra special this year with a homemade Christmas eve box for your little one's. We enlisted the help of @raisingrodmans who has given us a step by guide on how to create your own.Whether you're looking to start new traditions or want to add a little magic to a child's night before Christmas, this box will be sure to sprinkle a little stardust ✨

YOU WILL NEED:

Craft glue
Fresh greenery
Dried orange slices
A plain gift box (ours is paper mache)
A piece of fabric
Stocking ornaments

ONE:

- Start with a clean box

- Cut a piece of greenery (cedar is pictured here) that will fit across the length of the box

- Glue the back of your greenery stem in a few places so that it holds and stick it to the top of your box

TWO:

- Gather some more trimmings if you would like more greenery

- Trim those pieces and glue them down

- Next, add the dried oranges. Glue them around the edges and stick down
- Glue any ornaments of your choosing (we used stockings from the craft shop) and glue down

THREE:

- For the inside of the box, cut a piece of fabric of your choice to fit inside

- Add some glue and press down firmly

- Top the box with anything else you like such as ribbon, candy canes or bells

FOUR:

Now to fill the box! Some ideas are;

- Christmas pyjamas

- Something sweet (chocolate, cookies, lollipop)

- A puzzle

- A winter book
- Little wooden toy
- Soft toy
